All OhioHealth associates and the general public are invited to join Team OhioHealth on Saturday, August 3, at Woodlands Tavern on 1200 West 3rd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio for the 2019 Heart Walk event: Rock the Heart Beat! Doors open at 7 p.m.; event starts at 8 p.m. Once again, MadFunk8 will perform at this year’s event. MadFunk8 has had a variety of OhioHealth associates play in the band the last few years like Barbara Evert, MD, and Steve Bunyard, president, OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital and OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital and more!
A $10 donation is recommended at the door for admission! Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association and OhioHealth’s fundraising efforts for the Heart Walk. Attendance is voluntary. All attendees are expected to drink responsibly.
"This is the fourth year for this event, and I'm excited we're able to offer the fun experience to the entire system. All donations can be designated to a specific care site team. I know we'll have a great time, but what's more important is that we're raising much-needed funds for a worthy cause," says Scott Schroeder, region market team leader, Business Development & Market Growth, who is leading the charge in planning the event.
